*Michel – The Animals I Am*, an evolution of *L’Animale*, develops a choreographic research centered on reinterpreting the "fragments" of classical dance through divergent bodies. By adapting this repertoire to a performer with a disability, the concepts of coherence, adherence to the initial model, and motor skills are redefined.

The project challenges the idea of exceptionality often associated with disabled artists, proposing a collectivity of bodies and talents that multiplies performative possibilities. The title recalls Michel Petrucciani, a jazz pianist with the same genetic disorder as the choreographer. The work aims to overcome the myth of the isolated genius and restore the idea of a chorus of animals: multiple divergent bodies, many talents, and a shared expression of creativity and collective strength. In this work, dance becomes a site for exploring limits, the relationships between bodies, and the possibility of a common language that respects differences and specificities. The choreographic research showcases a new idea of a contemporary repertoire: inclusive and plural.
