Her live shows, played to audiences around the UK and internationally, have been described as “part-rave, part art-happening”. For her last ep, NEW BASIS, Rice explains that the music and visuals are all about contrast and collision. “There are long harmonic progressions with the feel of a classical composition but created in an electronic style. The process of creating the tracks encompasses multi-layered percussion, often derived from foley recordings, but paired with detuned synths and sampling.”
