Based on Hattie Naylor’s text, “Ivan e i cani” is inspired by a true story set in post-Soviet Russia, where a young child escapes domestic violence and wanders alone through the streets of Moscow. His journey becomes an extreme odyssey of survival, interrupted by the unexpected encounter with a pack of stray dogs that offer protection and companionship. Through voice, live sound and electronic composition, the performance intertwines narration and sonic writing, constructing an intimate yet stark landscape of abandonment, care and resilience.
