National Premiere 

The Children's Night tells the story of a small community experiencing an extraordinary event: the relocation of the entire Meyer Children's Hospital in Florence on the night of December 14, 2007. The city paused, keeping vigil late into the night over the long procession. In this narrative, the voices of witnesses to the event merge to form a choral account of a universal feeling of tenderness, belonging, and care.

But it is also a story that ideally separates the world of care from a recent past, which we already feel nostalgic for, from the present, which is rapidly moving towards a future that isn't entirely reassuring.
