For the upcoming exhibition at the Bassano Museum dedicated to Giovanni Segantini, Luca Scarlini's narrative will focus on the mountain as a source of inspiration, much as Segantini himself revealed it to European art. The Divisionist style took root precisely in the vision of the peaks, leading to the representation of a new sensibility. Alpine songs and the echo of the valleys are equally present in works that reflect every detail of a place previously perceived as an image of danger, but now seen as a vision of a place of the soul.
