Madalena Reversa, an artistic project founded by Maria Alterno and Richard Pareschi, reflects on the relationship between the human and the invisible in Salomé, the title and name of the protagonist, played by the dancer and choreographer Gloria Dorliguzzo. The biblical character who has been represented countless times in the figurative arts, in literature, in theater and in cinema, also inspired the homonymous tragedy by Oscar Wilde, to which the Madalena Reversas turned. For them, therefore, Salomé is a trope, biblical, modern and contemporary, a mirror of a humanity fallen in a world of fallen institutions, a symbol of the hypertrophy of the ego, in metaphysical boredom, in the "missed glances with what is sacred and ineffable". But still, the character becomes the vector that opens the door to barbarism, to having believed in some sort of eternal present. Salome's body, ecstatic and at the same time crossed by hysterical gestures, dissolves into a hieratic indolence. Salome is an elegy to absence, until there is no more light, until all that remains is loss.

Gigante is a research for a performer on the change of the body at night. A dance that dialogues with Bach's Goldberg Variations, written, it would seem, at the request of the Duke of Keyserling so that they would accompany his sleepless nights. And a game, a dialogue with the body and its knowledge, an exploration of obsessions, whims, transformations welcomed in the night. Gigante is what seems impossible to achieve, an ancient score, a volcano in the middle of the Mediterranean. And it is also part of a research on dance as a virtuous activity, that is, one that leaves no tangible object after its passage.

The title is inspired by the expression "Meet the Artist", which usually indicates the moment in which the artist is invited to dialogue with the audience to share the process behind a show. The participants/interpreters will meet, even if not live, dance artists who have marked the evolution of dance in the last sixty years, and have proposed an expansion of its traditional meaning. The work will be conceived as a space open to experimentation by everyone, a place where one can experience one's own body and create freely starting from the chosen works.

plein air is an invitation to enter an epidermal, hallucinatory, magical state. It is a research that moves between the immediacy of the concrete tactile experience and the persistence of the memory of the sensation, between the exactness of receiving and the incongruity of coagulating.
plein air is a dance of ruins, it is the continuous mending of those subtle materials that vibrate after a separation, in a fabulation that oscillates between adherence and detachment, echo and metamorphosis, data and mirage, in search of an implied contact that overcomes the spacing between vision and touch.

plein air originates from the experience of artistic experimentation with childhood and from the use of tactile practices as a tool for contact with the self and encounter with the other. Specifically, plein air expands that space immediately following the removal of the object of the touch, when the concrete sensation still persists on the skin and images, bodily desires, personal associations begin to be produced. The coexistence of concrete data and imaginative dimension that the experience of touch allows is able to create situations that are now familiar, now discordant, with even very sudden shifts that give rise to incongruent imaginaries, unexpected synesthesias, in a continuous adhesion to detachment. Just as a child when playing ball without the ball may seem caught in an unreal world, so the rigor and precision that he will put into play will allow us to faithfully follow the magical course of his ball, immersing us in a corporeal and active thinking, in which the absurd is possible, and in which the subtle materials of fantasy can ‘fill the air’ suggesting new, miraculous, non-coinciding possibilities.

The company shares with the local community the practices that emerged from the research A Very Eye, which address the themes of interdependence and collective negotiation. At the center of the exploration and invention of different models of interaction: constellations of intertwined movements in constant evolution. Based on great precision and continuous rhythmic and tactile listening, the patterns will allow to create mobile combinations, to work on proprioception and groove, to use touch to see. In duets, trios and other group compositions the different constellations will be related in space and time.
Experimenting with the notions of territory and border, for the creation of a moving cartography of our social and political relations.
