In The Lion’s Den Sabina Bočková and Johana Pocková push the boundaries between entertainment and perversity. Under the atmospheric live music by Lukáš Palán, the two performers embody a fierce array of cultural figures and references taken from mass media. From manipulating the audience to self-manipulation, they shift from the roles of leaders to victims. An emotionally charged performance where, playing with the audience’s complicity, Bočková and Pocková fall into a symbolic lion’s den, an abyss of uncertainty.
