National Preview

GOOD VIBES ONLY (the great effort) is an infinite scrolling acted and suffered by a human being who is inevitably a performer. It is an impact test through which to test the resistance to today's performance mechanisms. It was born from the observation of Tiktok: how to translate the logic of digital scrolling from the screen to the body? How to recreate that vision mechanism on stage? What does it imply? The basic scenic mechanism is based on an archive of trends linked to the semantic universe of "positive vibes", which flow on the performer's body without stopping, thanks to the inputs of the sound component. Reproduced randomly thanks to a mechanism that evokes the logic of the digital algorithm. Scrolling, applied to a physical body, generates glitches, system anomalies, which inadvertently invade the body, instead engaged in performing without stopping.
