To mark the occasion, this event features Carlotto himself alongside Andrea Pennacchi and musicians Maurizio Camardi, Sergio Marchesini, and Ricky Bizzarro. Through words, music, and the blues atmospheres that have always characterized the Alligator’s adventures, this theatrical-musical event brings to the stage the most significant stories from Carlotto’s published novels. It is a journey along the path forged by this unusual unlicensed investigator based in the Italian Northeast, who engages in a strange, deeply intimate relationship with the reader; he brings to the surface a desire for idealistic justice that simultaneously aligns and clashes with the profound essence of noir—the literary genre that best exposes the darkest contradictions of the world.
