A project that stems from the study carried out in the IN-SECTUM research by photographer Elisabetta Zavoli and violinist Sara Michieletto, during an artistic residency in the Brazilian Amazon forest, where they created images and sounds to bring people closer to environmental issues and shift the anthropocentric view of existence. Choreographers Tereza Ondrová and Silvia Gribaudi asked themselves: what would be life like if we looked at the world from the perspective of an insect? How can we shift an anthropocentric vision of the world?

ARA! ARA! is the designation of a symbol of a rising power that chooses a bird to represent itself. Not a majestic raptor like the eagle, but an exotic bird that communicates fun: the parrot ARA. Introduced to the circus for its acrobatic abilities, the bright colours of its plumage and the ability to repeat sounds, it was a perfect animal for entertainment in captivity. ARA! ARA! represents a seductive power for its friendly and festive appearance that brings back patterns from the past, ignoring contents and effects.

Vibes#5 is a 30-minute audio experience, a chance to be outside in the city and sense it in a completely different way. Vibes#5 is for everyone: after putting on headphones, you are gently guided to notice yourself and your surroundings. Composed sound interacts and interweaves through the narration to enrich the sound world that supports you. Encouraging curiosity and attentiveness, stillness and as much movement as you want, this audio evokes a sense of connection and a new way of experiencing being out in the city. Experience the co-existence.
