Inspired by Patti Smith, #PUNK depicts an unrestrained full-sounding and visual landscape where dance, installations and performance are intertwined. #PUNK is the first of a three-part live performance album which celebrates 3 sonic ideologies through the work of 3 iconic artists: Patti Smith (#PUNK), Grace Jones (100% POP) and Rit Nzele (*NIGGA). Nora Chipaumire was born in Zimbabwe and won 3 New York Dance & Performance Awards, also known as Bessie Awards. Through her work she challenges and embraces African stereotypes, as well as black people's body, art and aesthetics.
